Curriculum Introduction
At Arcadia Academy, Class 3 offers a month-by-month curriculum crafted to bridge the gap between preschool and primary school for our 4 to 5-year-olds. We focus on advanced literacy, complex problem solving, and leadership skills . Our students engage in deep academic preparation and social readiness. Throughout June and July, we provide a summer program full of discovery.

Learning Outcome
By the end of the year, students will demonstrate strong readiness for kindergarten by developing early reading and writing skills, foundational math understanding, improved fine motor control, and the confidence to participate in structured classroom learning. Children will leave the program with greater independence, curiosity, and the social skills needed for a successful transition to elementary school.
Language & Early Reading
Children are introduced to letter recognition and letter sounds while practicing early writing skills such as name tracing and beginning letter formation. Activities support vocabulary growth, listening skills, and early reading readiness.
Mathematics
Students build stronger number skills through counting, number writing, simple addition and subtraction concepts, pattern recognition, and early problem solving activities
Science & Discovery
Children explore basic science concepts through hands-on activities, seasonal themes, nature exploration, and simple experiments that encourage curiosity and observation.

Geography & Cultural Awareness
Students learn about continents, countries, and world cultures through maps, flags, and discussions that introduce them to the diversity of the world around them.
Fine Motor & Writing Skills
Activities such as tracing, drawing, cutting, and structured writing exercises help children strengthen the hand control needed for kindergarten writing tasks.
Social & Classroom Development
Students develop independence, teamwork, and responsibility through structured routines, cooperative play, and group learning experiences that prepare them for a kindergarten classroom environment.
